Home » How To Connect Salus MS600 Smart Motion Sensor ( Smart Home )

My name is Allen Hart and in today’s video I’m going to show you how to connect your Salus MS600 Smart Motion Sensor to your Smart Home Network. This is part of the Smart Home range. Start by removing the back cover. To do this simply slide it off and you’ll see the battery has a small plastic tab just inside there. Remove the tab to activate the battery. The MS600 will now enter pairing mode.

Now we need to go to the Smart Home app on your phone or your PC. If we go to the three lines at the top we click on settings, setup equipment and then just scan for equipment. That may take a few minutes.

We can now see it’s found the motion sensor, click on motion sensor, click on connect equipment

and then we can name this equipment. Whether we’re going to put it into a bathroom or somewhere like that we can just put “bathroom”.

Click on next and just click on finish. So we can see on the app now we can see if I move my hand across there we’ve got motion on there and that completes the setup. We can now move the sensor to wherever we want to place it.

On its own the MS600 will let you know of any motion that’s detected in the room where it’s located. However, the Salus One Touch rules are a great way to take advantage of the product as part of the Smart Home network.

For example you can control secondary turn pumps, lighting, thermostats and more all triggered by motion. We’ll cover the One Touch rules in more detail in future videos.

That wraps up today’s video. I hope you found it useful. If you’ve got any questions on the MS600 or any of the Salus Smart Home products please leave a comment below. As always like, comment, subscribe, all that good stuff and we’ll see you in the next video.
