Mee Name’s is Allen Hart and in today’s video I’m going to show you how to connect your Salus SP600 Smart Plug to your Smart Home network. This is part of the Salus Smart Home range. First of all we need to find a free socket nearby to plug in your SP600 Smart Plug. You’ll see the light on the top of the Smart Plug is flashing green. This means it’s open for pairing. Go to the Smart Home app on your phone or your PC. If we click on the three lines on the top right hand side, if we go to Settings,Setup Equipment and then Scan for Equipment. And as we scan for equipment we need to make sure that the light is on on the top of the plug.
Scan for Equipment.
And then we’ll see the Smart Plug appears. So if we take the Smart Plug, click on Connect Equipment.
And then we can name the equipment. So if we wanted to use this for something like a heater or something like that, you could name this so you know which Smart Plug there is. So on this I’m just going to put Smart Home. All And then on there we’ll just click on Next.
And then just finished. And then if we have a look on the app, we can see that it’s on the front of the display. And then you can just set that up however you want. Put times, settings in, switch on and off manually, whatever you want to do. Once paired, the light on the top of the Smart Plug will be green. You can now move that whenever you want in your system and that will remain paired. So for instance, you put it into your lounge and you plugged it in, turn it back on on the power, it’ll be connected to the home network. That wraps up today’s video. I hope you found this useful.
